“A Dreamy Stay in a Landmark Charleston Home”
"My husband and I turned 30 this year, and to celebrate we took a bunch of friends from NYC to Charleston with us. We stayed in the newly remodeled Belvedere B&B, which was the perfect setting for our Charleston escapades. Set right on the lake, this beautiful old house is somewhat of a local landmark, and the owners, Pam and Ron, were incredibly sweet and accommodating to our group. They had plenty of advice on what to visit (boating the glassy swamp at Cypress Gardens and pretty Folly Beach to name two), made us insanely delicious breakfasts (French toast with juicy berries was my fave) and were generally delightful company during our weekend away. The place itself is decorated beautifully inside (the beds are SO comfortable) but our favorite feature was the balcony area upstairs, where we did yoga / read books / listened to music / consumed copious Bloody Marys and talked into the evening. It really was a home away from home and we were sad to leave it for our tiny Brooklyn apartment! "

Charleston is rich in history, culture and urban life. The South Eastern Wildlife Exposition kicks off the visitor season each February with art expositions, events and dining . Spoleto Festival brings world-class talent to the Low Country every spring.

Walking due east from your residence you will find yourself in the heart of Charleston, the oldest city in the southeast . Pass King Street shops and eateries , the Preservation Society , famous restaurants, theaters and galleries, to the French Quarter and finally Waterfront Park. All without making a turn!

Visit the Gibbes Museum of Art , the Charleston Harbor, or walk the Battery.  The property is located downtown in a convenient location on the peninsula, so you can enjoy all that Charleston has to offer without having to travel a long distance.
